A mixed media installation with accompanying soundtrack
Whenever one sees images of Newcastle, whether as postcard or fine art image, there is invariably a showcasing of the aesthetic stereotype. The ubiquitous images of Nobby’s or of the Baths always come to mind, but Newcastle offers much more as a visual subject. This exhibition seeks to touch upon a particular aspect of Newcastle: from some of the more obvious vistas of the city to the more obscure settings, we are hoping to capture the mood, action and atmosphere of Newcastle at
night or various stages of evening.
